Barbic's Transmission Repair

I highly recommend Barbic's Transmission. They recently rebuilt the transmission on our 2013 Tundra and did an excellent job. From start to finish, they were professional—completing the work right on schedule and honoring their exact price estimate. It's hard to find that level of honesty and quality workmanship.

Tim and Dawn are an AWESOME duo! They were very knowledgeable, transparent , and most importantly, HONEST. They got my Silverado 6l80 transmission back shifting smooth and gave me wise suggestions to make it last longer! While other shops told me I would need a full transmission rebuild, Tim and his GREAT crew of mechanics got down to the root of the problem and had me back rolling a few days after the diagnosis. Saved me a lot of time and money! Whenever I need work done or sound mechanical advice, BARBIC TRANSMISSION will be my go to place!! BIGGEST THANKS, TIM AND DAWN!!!! FROM Danny B

So grateful to Barbics for working out a very difficult transmission issue on my car. It had been to 2 other shops in the area and finally this one was able to resolve it. They were clearly dedicated to fixing it. Highly recommend

If you're looking for an honest, knowledgeable, transmission specialist, look no further! Barbic transmission repair in Sarasota is the place to go for your transmission repairs! Very knowledgeable and friendly staff! I'm a single female traveler and rarely do i find a shop that doesn't see $$$ signs when they see me! Not the case with Barbic transmission repair! I had a slipping issue with my transmission. Timothy took the time to test drive and get down to the issue straight away! Turns out it was a simple fix, but trust me, I have been to other transmission repair shops and usually hear the same crap! Your transmission is shot! This is going to be expensive! Barbic had me back on the road in no time and the cost was under $200! Dawn and Timothy are the owners and they have been in business since the early 90s. I wouldn't hesitate to have my rig towed to Barbic, even if I was 200 miles away! Thank you for your honesty and wealth of knowledge! It was a pleasure doing business with you!
